This document provides an overview of the first version of the FENTEC website and its design. The website will serve as a documentation management system which includes public information about FENTEC project [1] and its results, and also a private section, based on ownCloud [5], where partners can communicate and share project related information to each other. This private area of the FENTEC website allows consortium members to manage the knowledge generated by the project (files, documents, promotional material, etc.) and it also serves as collaborative work environment for project partners.
This report describes different aspects of the website, such as the characteristics, the technology used, security and maintenance aspects, and some structural facets. Screenshots are included in order to help the reader in better understanding the chosen approach and the design process.
